Collective Group Exhibition / La Rural, Buenos Aires, 2026

The 2026 edition of MAPA Art Fair, held on the last weekend of June at Pavilion 8 of La Rural, drew on design as a discipline, consolidating itself as a space for synergy between Argentine and Brazilian collecting.

For its eighth edition, the design section was once again curated by María Boggiano. The proposal was to establish an interdisciplinary territory expanded through material culture.

The focus was on bringing visibility to unique pieces and limited editions, highlighting the value of contemporary object production—works that move naturally between functionality and aesthetics.

Two local collectives, Trazo Cero and Acopio, were present, each with a clearly defined profile.

Trazo Cero, the team coordinated by Vivian Urfeig, presented a series of objects marked by traceability and material sensitivity. The selection featured works by Bilu, Studio Devel, Fiumine, Hache Objetos, I Wish, Mantara, María Picci, Oblumo, Orpnimi, Estudio Sietes, Sur del Cruz, and Galof Studio.
