Sculptures

These sculptures are digital 3D prints that were born after the Tactile Dialogue encounter with blind people. All together we worked in clay, and after the mini pieces were created, the tactile experience was turned into a sensitive language.

These sculptures were born after an encounter with blind people, with whom processes of clay modeling were shared to generate organic and abstract forms. Spontaneous pieces, born from direct contact with the material, are later scanned and digitally translated, giving rise to a play of transformations where the form shifts, becoming something else without losing the memory of its origin.

The works thus function as traces of a collective process, inviting us to see through other senses. Each piece is a testimony of how matter can become language and artistic gesture.

Under the exhibition Rites of Print the dialogue between art, technology, and perception, show a reflection on how we inhabit the world and connect with others through the senses.
