Studio Devel is a project founded by Delfina Velar de Irigoyen in 2018. Her creations—both modular and scalable—are shaped through the collaboration of an interdisciplinary team of specialists in design, communication, strategy, and co-creation.
Each piece is 3D-printed in PLA (a biopolymer derived from natural raw materials), reflecting a strong commitment to the environment.
The works—shapes, volumes, and textures—are inspired by the selective gaze toward different cultures and contexts. From each journey she takes, the artist gathers records and impressions, from which she extracts patterns that are later reinterpreted in her work.
Hints of Latin American Indigenous cultures can be perceived, with a flowing linework that guides the viewer’s gaze through a playful journey—a morphological bridge between the earliest South American civilizations and the latest technological advancements applied to the visual arts.
